Travel Gear & Resources

Here, you’ll find a list of products and services that we personally use and recommend! I’ve spent countless hours scouring the web, searching for the products that fit our needs, so I thought I would put together a little resource page in case you are interested in checking out the things we love!

Camera Gear

Olympus PEN E-PL7

This compact Micro Four Thirds camera by Olympus has been serving me well as a vlogging camera (check out our YouTube channel), as well as a travel camera where I take photos for the blog when I don’t want to lug around something heavy.

Olympus 25 mm f1.8 Interchangeable Lens

When I’m not vlogging, this lens is usually on my camera.  It provides great travel photos, portraits, and photos of food, which is perfect for blogging.

Computer Programs

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom

Lightroom is my favorite photo editing program.  I use it for all my photo edits for the blog, as it’s easy to use and more affordable than purchasing the Photoshop Creative Suite.

 Cyberlink Power DirectorUltimate

Another affordable editing program that I use all the time.  I use PowerDirector for putting together all of our vlogs! It’s pretty simple to learn once you get the hang of it.

Travel Accessories

BESTEK Universal Plug Adapter (FRANCE/GERMANY)

These are a must when traveling to Europe! There are others that combine a few into one, but we took this 3-Pack with us to Paris (they also work for Germany) and they worked great! No issues. And since there are two of us, it was nice to have 3 adapters to use (between our cell phones, laptop, flat iron, etc.). Not to mention these are affordable (presently $7.99). Be sure to look for the two prongs for the France/Germany adapters.

BESTEK Universal Plug Adapter (ITALY)

Because they can’t make everything easy on you, the adapters for Italy have to have 3 prongs, so we bought a pack of these too. No issues at all! I definitely recommend these if you are traveling with more than one person.

Scrapbooking Supplies

What is this doing here?  Well, as travelers, we have tons of photos and memories to hold onto. If you’re the crafty sort, check out this post for everything you need to get started with scrapbooking your travel memories!
